The Mandalorian Is Heading To Celebration

Star Wars is holding their fan convention in Chicago next month where fans will gather for exclusive merchandise but more importantly panels from the biggest Star Wars stars as well as breaking news from the films, comics, games and TV.

In the past we have had debut trailers for the films and animated shows and it has now been confirmed that The Mandalorian, Star Wars first live action TV show, will be having its of panel on Sunday April 14th where we will learn about the show from Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.

Jon Favreau, who has previously directed the Jungle Book and upcoming Lion King live action remake, is executive producer and writer for show while Dave Filoni is executive producer and director. Fans of Star Wars will recognise Filoni’s name from the animated series as he has been director and writer for Star Wars The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars Resistance. provided an official statement regarding The Mandalorian’s presence at Celebration.



Learn about the perilous world of The Mandalorian with Jon Favreau (executive producer and writer) and Dave Filoni (executive producer and director) in a special panel discussion on Sunday, April 14, at 11 a.m., live on the Celebration Stage and presented simultaneously at the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages.

The Mandalorian, set to debut on Disney+, stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) in the title role as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter, alongside Gina Carano (Deadpool), Carl Weathers (Predator), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and Nick Nolte (Warrior).

Many fans are anticipating something very special from The Mandalorian when it launches on Disney+ so this panel will likely have many eyes on it next month with the potential for a debut look at the series.

The series already has top talent signed to appear both behind the camera and on-screen and with a panel assigned to the show we could very well get more confirmation on who will be appearing.
